Detailed Tracking
This category (also known as Process Tracking) includes events indicating the following system/user activity:
  • program activation
  • process exit
  • handle duplication
  • indirect object access
Using these events you can track each program that is executed, either by the system or by end users, you can determine when the program was closed and see for how long it was running. Using the Logon ID, Process ID, and Handle ID fields you can correlate the events from this categroy with other events such as logons and object access. For example, you can track what programs a user ran during one of his/her logon sessions.
