Events from this category reflect successful and failed attempts to access all objects outside Active Directory.
This includes reading, changing, deleting the following types of objects:
  • folders and files,
  • registry keys,
  • printers, services, etc.

For tracking access to Active Directory objects use the event categroy Directory Service Access.
